<title>Dam I am bushed</title>

<description>Doubling up on the weekend is a little tiring to say the least, and with the lovely organiser related challenges we had as well its always fun at the fair ground. For me two of my favourite days out in the calendar have cosied up making it very had to choose between them all.
On Saturday the Clash of the Tritons always brings a smile to my face with the ever changing face of London and lets not forget the horrid traffic we have to endure but its one of those races, rain or shine that just happens. It lovely and the best part of 250 people in a saturday morning aquathlon shows that its ever popular. I also raced this time as well for the first time, thanks to my brother for coming along to help out so that I could.
Sunday saw the Stu Crew back in Erewash for the 3rd running of the Erewash Triathlon, A novice event initially the council have adapted well over the last few years and it was nice to see Roland Harrison back their supporting his replacement Ian Tinto ( Race Director).
What really makes Erewash Triathlon a little special is that its so popular with the locals and the novices. and I really hope that doesn't change. Its not an *everyones a winner* approach either. Race Briefings are run every 30 minutes and the support from local business, clubs and council employees is fantastic.
Its very rare you see a sad face at Erewash, long may it continue

Due to a slight issue with the DOB, we are manually correcting a lot of age category results.. The ORganisers are aware and we hope to have them with the photos sorted out this evening. Please bear with us, they are circumstances outside of our control. Provisional results are available using the link on the Homepage

Prizes for the categories are being sent out next week. Only the senior category was done on the day so you won't have missed out on anything.

 Juniors (T2/T3) no known issues.
 Photos, later on tonight

<title>Busy Weekend MkII</title>

<description>I think its going to get worse :)
This weekend we did Leicester Triathlon Clubs Flashman Event, which was the kids and adults in the afternoon. only having 20 minutes to take one transition down and move to another was tight but we got there and turned on the finish line mats just as the first beeps were coming out of transitions. The results are up. the TS0 or Tristarts a have no t2 times ( added to the run) due to some confusion in the format and timing issue. we're not sure what happened but they were not right on the run out mat. Apologies but technology eh!
Added to that we had a good show are Barton Marina with Chase race events with some sterling performances especially by my brother whos half Ironman attempt is gathering momentum.
Finally we have Cranbrook Triathlon down in Kent. Phil T took the big drive down and timed that race keeping Mike Hawkins, Race Director at Velocity Events very happy.

A better weekend this weekend than last for timing and results and I've even been to Switzerland in between and been taught a thing or two about timing races!
