Omg, Too Many Races..

Granted that F3 provided most of the action but it strikes me as odd that at 2300 hours I realisted we timed more races than we have space for on the home page!!

Well a quick code update should change that  and I am looking forward to a much quieter weekend on the 21st at the 1st ever Luton Triathlon.

Reflection Of A Busy Weekend

Busy Busy Weekend at StuWeb Towers, and my body is wanting to train.  My eyes and mind are still in Bed though.  There seems like a lot of Midland action going on here to so we've pulled in the results from the Burntwood Aquathlon too. (see the All Results link).

We've got a few queries in the inbox and we're currently investigating the tagging,we've actually got a very simple solution running in the background but we're going to hold off for a few weeks longer and make some refinements. to the data structure.

Back To Back Weekend At Raceways And Velocity Events

Looks like a busy weekend for StuWeb Race timing as we've got two races back to back.  Both events are taking entries on the day now so you get down there on the day if you  wish.  On Saturday,  as with all of Martine and Catherines events being Saturday based, We'll be at the Shakespeare 10km which promised to the be the fastest 10Km ever with its pancake flat two lap course.

Results will be here of course around Saturday tea Time.

On Sunday we're off to the Maidstone Duathlon in Harreitsham in Kent.  First visit for me  but team StuWeb will be there with bells on as well as the Duathlon suit worn by my brother.  We should get some results out shortly after the finish and off back to the midlands in time for tea.

Easter Monday 10or10or5

Update for Information

Dear Competitor.

Please see attached pdf entry info for the Easter Monday Race.

Please note that chips and race numbers need to be collected on race morning.

Please allow time to collect your number and be at the start line in time for each race start. We will endeavour to get everyone off to a prompt start.
You can warm up along the railway walk in the opposite direction to the race start.

We aim to seed the starts according to indicated expected times but if you do wish to run with other club members/friends simply let us know at the start line.

Train safe, stay well

With Chip Timing, Runners will be dispatched 5-10 at a time depending on numbers, We are recording your start time as you are dispatched so do not panic about order providing you are wearing the correct number and chip then all will be fine.

  • Runners will be set off in small groups (aprox 5) at interval (happy if club runners want to run together - just let us know on the day).
  • Chip timing.
  • Flat course.
  • Totally off road - mostly good surface (as long as it doesn't rain too much before hand!).
  • Drink station.
  • Medal to all finishers.
  • Prize tokens.
  • Refreshments available.
  • Morning start - but not too early.
  • Online entry available.
  • Just £7.00 entry fee (£9.00 unattached) in advance.
  • 5k Time trial also available

Features a fast flat out and back course, (with maybe a little mud for good measure!). If you want an early start time, get there early! Warm up off the course, running along the course won't help the other athletes and only limits the space available.
