Spokes Cycles Annual Metalman Triathlon
The Spokes Metalman Triathlon, Ireland flew by without a hitch won I believe by a rep from Triathlon Ireland! Good event few penalties and great location, hope to be back there next year!

Weekend Action
Okay so stole the term from Tri247 but hey it works.... Well this weekend saw me having to hire a van at late notice. my business certainly has outshone my car and my current van had to be somewhere else. It seems that even a relatively small aquathlon needs mobile data downloads 3 laptops. I think the Van should be available to most people via facebook!

Double Iron Results (in Detail)
After the Double Iron this year from Steve and Eddie I managed to snag a copy of the results, I have compressed these onto the website in the usual format. If you click on the name of an athlete you should see all their splits ala Ironman style. Enjoy the what can only be described as painful reading.
Most entertainingly of all the increase in the last lap time in relation to the rest. Quite often they were quicker than their first true lap.
The first run lap includes T2 in all fairness so I can't really tell. But it certainly does look like many of the guys were holding something in reserve :) Wouldn't you just love to know where they keep it all?

Hathersage Hilly Triathlon Update!!
Due to some issues with a timing unit at the Hilly Tri, there is an update that this is in my results database here: Hathersage Hilly.
Apart from the very random weather a great day had by all!
Really pleased to see so many novice triathletes turnout to the event and challenge the hilly run route - might even have a go myself next year!
