Chaserace Open Water Sessions

We at ChaseRace see a lot of athletes who would very much like to take part in an Open Water Triathlon only to be put of by the chaos which is the open water swim start. "Rookie Training " has been designed specifically at getting rookie athletes from pool based events into open water events, we have managed to put together a whole host of world class coaches headed up by none other than Rick Kiddle, also John Brame (who coaches Jenson Button), Darren Roberts And Chris Clarke.

We will also have a "Rookie Only Wave" at each of our open water events and having attended the training day you will also receive a discount on entry to a ChaseRace Open Water Event.

There are to be a series of Rookie Training days throughout the year full details of which can be found on the ChaseRace website.

We will also be hosting another Open Water Sprint on the 9th August as well as our event on the Open Water Sprint 7th June.

Results From The Warwickshire Childrens Triathlon & Hatch End Triathlons

We have been busy today,

The Warwickshire Childrens Triathlon was great success many thanks to Andy Smith over at Stratford Sharks and Phil T, My PDA timing guy for getting the times back to me.  Those of you finished but with wrong laps, we'll get your times put back in tomorrow so you can what you did.

Over at Hatch end we had a *Massive* day in the office with the Adults Race seemingly breeze by in the morning, followed with a rather busy (and tiring) kids event in the afternoon.

No Photos from us I am afraid as the Pro's were out in force, Results are in the all results section of the website.

We've also added in the results from the DK 10K Wednesday which we really want to time next year :)

Results For The Springfield Triathlon

Hi, Welcome, I tend to get around a bit but this is a part of the triathlon community I don't often visit.  You might not find your way around the website as well as some guys from the Midlands

You can click on the all splits link at the top to get see everything.  if you want to do a personal  look then simply click on your name for all the details..  On the main results page you can download a CSV file.
Have a look around and if you find your photo then add your race number to it.  This updates the results history against the time for the race and helps keep the website all flashy and awesome.  There is no personal data held on the site and if you want the photos taken off then fill in the form on the contact us page.
You can write a review of the event in the review section.  let other people know how good/bad the race is.

Chaserace Results Online

A rather blustery set of results  will shortly be followed by a blustery photo set.  The bumper field for the bi-annual Three Spires Sprint was in good (if not windswept) spirits as they took on the Sprint Challenge.  News from the was that although a very tough outward leg was happy to return the favor on the return (unlike some courses where the wind just sits in your face.)

In the mens race it looked set to be an interesting race for first between Mike Cornes, Philip Wolfe and sporting his new team for 2009, Alistair Johnson.  Cornes returning from injury in terms of triathlon looked in good form but watching Alistair Johnson put out a blistering run leg to finish in54:32, it was very apparent that Wolfe and Cornes were deciding who was going to be second.

In the Ladies for the second week running we have Lucy Haywood taking the honors in 1:03:17, with Lauren Creamer a good four minutes adrift.
