It Never Rains....

Black Country Triathletes Bi-Annual Sprint triathlon held in Wombourne was yet again subject to a last minute route change due to some unforeseen road works.  After re-signing the route the race started 15 minutes late and help from the local police to organise a turnaround point in the middle of the road made the race an interesting change from the usual course.

Still an out and back but through some twisty bits of the local country side made for a great  race The usual run up and down the disused railway line under cover of the trees made for its usual punishing affair.

Continuing his unbeaten streak at Wombourne, James Ratcliffe came home in a time of 49.47 and in the ladies Lucy Haywood in a time 58.03

If you click on your name you get your halfway splits too !!!!  We were trying to be clever to put some extras in for the 5 Mile (as you passed the 2.5km point twice...) but it was nice to see the half way times.
